Hey there 👋
My name is Caio Seda, I'm a master's student at PUC-Rio and a research fellow at the Instituto Tecgraf. I have a degree in Computer Science from CEFET-RJ, and in my final project I sought to causally measure the impact of more accessible credit lines on the default rate of small and medium-sized enterprises during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. This study was supervised by Professor Eduardo Bezerra and Yuri R. Fonseca.
Currently, my research aims to understand the effectiveness of using diffusion models beyond generative tasks, such as in semantic segmentation tasks of medical images. My research is in partnership with the Brazil National Cancer Institute (INCA) and is supervised by Professor Paulo Ivson Netto.
